The world of Tyler Ennis

Senior guard Melvin Johnson recorded 24 points, which included 6-of-10 shooting from 3-point range, and junior guard Tyler Ennis added 23 points and nine assists as St. Benedict's was a buzzer shot from scoring 100 points in the final game of the SFIC Festival at Kean University in Union. St. Benedict's led, 13-0, before Bergen Catholic scored with 5:48 left in the first quarter. Richie DeLuca scored 16 points for Bergen Catholic.

1.) The Springfield Connection: When St. Thomas More and Wilbraham & Monson square off at noon, two of Springfield's past high school stars will be on the floor. Kamali Bey and Jaylen Brantley will both be playing for W&M and local crowds can see just how spectacular they've become. Bey, just a junior, was perhaps the best player in WMass two years ago helping Sabis to a state championship. Brantley, a former Central guard, is considering offers from Georgetown, Florida, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Syracuse. He recently called Louisville and Syracuse the early leaders.

5.) Kuran Iverson: Playing out of Northwest Catholic in West Hartford, Iverson is becoming one of the top players in the northeast. Considered the 7th best power forward in the class of 2013, Iverson has been offered by UConn, Syracuse and Kentucky. Expect plenty of eyes to be on Iverson when Northwest Catholic takes on DeMatha Catholic at 8 p.m. on Day 3.

Message board has fun at Jonny's expense

Jonny and Wes, regardless of the situations they are in better pick up their play if they want a second contract.

Wes especially... I have kinda come to the conclusion that Flynn is in trouble. Small guards have a hard time sticking around. It just so happens that Lowry is ahead of him and playing very well... Perhaps, and I don't want to wish this, one of those guys will go down and allow Jonny some time to show his skills. Otherwise, he may not get another shot. Wes gets like 3-6 shots a game. That's terrible. He either isn't being assertive enough or isn't good enough... One way or another, as the 4th pick in the draft, you can't average 5ppg 2 rbs and be considered invaluable.

Kind of surprised by Wes. I always figured he'd be about a 14 ppg player.

I think Wes needs a change of scenery. Jonny ehh I dont know, he needs to stop being on teams with 900 point guards.

Guys please don't forget your likes... OE is busting his tail. Look at all that content.

Jonny ended up in the worst possible situation in Minny- with a HC who wanted to force-feed an offensive system to a team full of rookies. Rambis was an absolute disaster as HC, & Jonny's injury set him back for years.
As for Wes, he should be fine now that they have HC Adelman a pass-first PG in Rubio.
