Waiting on you Florida State. The 'Noles are still trying to fill the vacant spot on their schedule left by West Virginia. The Cousins paid three-fifty large to back out of their trip to Tallahassee because they didn't want to play a challenging non-conference game in addition to nine Big 12 league games. It's assumed that once FSU finds their replacement the ACC will release the schedule. However, there's the slim possibility Syracuse and/or Pitt pony up $20M and make a last second attempt to leave the Big East for the ACC in 2012. That could delay the schedule more.

Add my thanks for your excellent work in posting these articles!

As for the NYG rush package, our guys tried a version of that, with Torrey Ball moving inside so we had 3 DEs plus a smallish DT (Goggins or Boatman). Good concept -- need better pass rushers to make it work.

Other lessons from the NYG -- alternate two RBs; and find someone like Cruz for the slot.

Maybe I've missed something, but Chandler Jones being the next Pierre-Paul, for me at least, is pretty close to Ryan Nassib being the next Johnny Unitas.

Sorry, I love the guy, but aside from the WVU game last year, he never really knocked my socks off.

Seems like we were always waiting for that breakout year.....that never happened. Great guy with a solid head on his shoulders. But his performance underwhelmed based on the hype.
