MaxPreps is going to announce Monday the #1 player in the class of 2014 is Quarterback Deshaun Watson of Gainesville, GA. http://www.gainesvilletimes.com/section/196/article/77903/ Watson has already verbaled to Clemson. Yuck!
With a year remaining, Watson is already the state’s all-time career leader in passing yards (9,360), touchdown passes (108) and all-purpose touchdowns (155), and he is a great runner too. I guess I will get a chance to see both Ogundeko and Watson when Syracuse plays at Clemson, as the Tigers are only 80 miles away.
BTW, the first time I heard Dabo speak, I thought he was a hick from Mayberry - I guess I underestimated him.
