Most heartbreaking injury since

When I saw the thread title, that's who came to mind for me.

I don't think anybody will dispute that Hunt was limited and frustrating at times. But to rehab from a catastrophic injury, reclaim his starting spot, only to suffer another catastrophic career ending injury without even being hit -- I feel bad for the kid.

I was going to go with Ted Gregory.

He denies it.

It just made me think about how lucky we were that McNabb started every game for 4 years.

And how lucky we were that Mason never got hurt so we weren't robbed of McNabb's 1998 (for the redshirt crowd).

I don't think Graves ever got hurt either. All 3 of those QBs played on less forgiving Dome turf.

As far as unfortunate injuries, Delone Carter's hip has to be on that list.

What is it? Torn Achilles?

Arinze. For football, spotwood is the one I use to measure all others.

Losing Arinze cost us a championship, Spotwood is a good one, that the one I had in mind too.

If Pugh is healthy the entire 2012 season we are at least 10-3 with wins over Northwestern and Minnesota. Hell maybe USC gets a bigger scare then they already did. But we take the momentum of a 3-1 start into Big East play and beat Rutgers, and roll from there. BCS bid if we beat Rutgers.

Thinking back to that season that dropped pick 6 by Reddish against Cincinatti still kills me.
