One candidate is very recent
That game was soooo important. That’s a solid choice.Nassib to Lemon to win @Missouri. Best quarter of offense I can recall a Syracuse team playing.
That play symbolized the entire season. This crazy play from the Camping World Bowl

for me it’s one of these three:
Estime’s punt return in the Texas Bowl.
Dungey’s stretch for the first down clinching the clemson win.
trill’s strip. That’s not a play college athletes make.
The Doctor timed that very well...
I was watching some games from the 2010 - 2013 period and, wow, all the names I had forgotten. Eric Crume, Deon Goggins, Doug Hogue, Reddish, Siriki Diabate, Marquis Spruill, Phillip Thomas, Richey Desir, Beckett Wales, Jarrod West, Antoine Bailey, Devante McFarland, Charley Loeb, Jeremiah Kobena, Prince Tysen-Gulley, Ashton Broyld, Drew Allen, Terrell Hunt, Jerome Smith, Sean Hickey, Cam Lynch, Keon Lyn, Dayshawn Davis, Jay Bromley, Ri'Shard Anderson (?), Justin Pugh, Kirkland, Foy, Ross K. the kicker...just so many...
I'd love another back like Smith - just seemed allergic is losing yards. But none of those guys were particularly fast, and are probably lesser athletes than what we have at those positions now. It's the jump from the Big East to the ACC that makes this so.We all wish we could see the West/Lemon/Sales trio with the Dino offense. Also PTG/Smith at RB. Exactly what personnel Dino is trying to get.

That's one bad man Bob.
I have to think that the 2012 team, were they able to play the 2018 team, should have beaten them. But they couldn't/didn't. So 2012 of them.So many what ifs for 2012. That team should have beat Northwestern, Minnesota, Rutgers and Cincinnati. I'm not sure it's a given that the 2018 team was the best of the decade. Would love to have seen those two teams play each other at their best. I think 2018 would win, but the top end talent on 2012 was a lot better.
