6:52 mark. We are attempting an extra point up 24-21, Tech blocks it, and Jack Stonehouse our punter chases down the VT player from behind. If Tech gets two points the other way, our chances of winning go down significantly and the entire complexion of the game changes. He was very smart to take a shallow angle in tackling the Tech player knowing he had the entire field to work with.
This reminded me of the 1998 game when McNabb threw an interception on a two-point conversion and Tech took it 100 yards the other way. McNabb pretty viciously horse collar tackled him (when that was still allowed), but the Tech player illegally fumbled the ball forward and another player fell on it, and the refs still gave them the two points.
That's game winning football by Stonehouse that won't show up in the stat sheet.
