Syracuse has been a wounded program since the sanctions threw a monkey wrench in their recruitment and subsequent player development. Yet, every team still sees them as a huge pelt to take and comes at them with their hair on fire. During the regular season, the coaching staff is still building the team and doesn't always meet that intensity not wanting to build up individual games to mean so much as to be more important than the progress being made. In the NCAAT, everybody's hair is on fire, including ours, and Syracuse is use to getting an opposing teams A game. But they aren't ready for ours. Hence, the Orange are a big dog barking real loud.

That’s interesting. I wonder if JAB’s zone (even I get tired of hearing about it this time of year) is so different that it becomes a statistical outlier that analytic gurus have trouble accounting for in their algorithms. I say that seriously.2021 March Madness Predictions

In baseball, soft tossers and sinkerball pitchers are almost frowned upon by front offices, yet there are many that succeed because they know how to pitch. You know the historical names like Moyer, Glavine, Buehrle, to name a few. I think there is a correlation to be made here.
We don’t lose to Univ of Houston 7/10 times.
