Who you got?
IMG_1117.jpeg

Jim Boeheim, Jim Brown, Ernie Davis, Carmelo

MUCH harder than you would think, with Gary Gait, Derrick Coleman, etc.
Derrick who?

You have to decide whether to go only football and hoops or not. If it’s open to all, Gary Gait has to be there. I don’t think UNC is leaving out Michael Jordan.

Josh Wright, Jaquan Carlos, Michael Edwards, James Theus

Point God U

Serious answer. 4 people is tough.

Boeheim for sure
#22 (SU lacrosse)
#44
Melo

I’d also go with Ernie Davis and Jim Brown as #3 and 4 for people.

And I think Coaches almost need their own rock. And announcers. Plus, how does Vic Hanson not get represented. And if we open it up, what about non-sports alumni. Seems wrong not to include Vanessa Williams, Jerry Stiller and Peter Falk.

Whether it's sports, music, history, etc... whenever you are choosing the top N, there are always 2N that qualify.

Brown
Boeheim
Gait
Schwartzwalder
Davis
Anthony
Sidat-Singh
Pearl

And no one ever mentions Gene Mills. 2 time national champion wrestler. Most outstanding his sr year. Would have been a world champion if we hadn't pulled out in 1980 pics. Jim Nance as well.

What great times watching the meets at Manley. Don't forget Mike Rotunda. Those were the two matches everyone was there for.
Those sports do get the short shift around here when we talk about these things. And Mills was amazing

If you leave out Dave Bing you have the whole thing wrong. Without him you have nothing in basketball.
