Most of the league will find a home..
Early...(and not our problem any more) but here is how I see the rest of the league shaking out...
First...it goes without saying, with Syracuse and Pitt bailing, the hoops onlies will be cast off once and for all...the Providences, Georgetowns, and St Johns' of the world will unite to form a nice little hoops only league.
Rutgers and UConn I suspect will eventually align with a major conference. Probably the ACC, although I could see Rutgers going to the Big 10 if they get really desperate. This is not what I am rooting for, FWIW...I would much prefer to see Rutgers wither and fade away...but it is what it is.
WVU will go to the SEC. I think Louisville may join them when the below happens.
Notre Damn will remain an indy.
Texas (FWIW) I see ultimately taking Texas Tech to the Pac 12...
That really only leaves USF and Cinci...damn.
I guess I could see them aligning with the remaining Big 12 castoffs...although really, they would be a better fit in C-USA...
