...can he maintain his efficiency if he raises his level of aggression on the offensive end? He has been great playing a pass first, let the game come to him game. But...last 5 games we've been in the 40's once, 50's twice, sixties once, and seventies once. Eventually we are going to need to score more, and to me our best chance of doing that is Tyler trying to score\create more. But, if you ask him to do that, what do you give up in exchange in terms of turnovers, forced shots, etc.

Its deceiving.. we shot 51 pct.. assisted on 11 of 21 hoops and only had 9 turnovers.. 2 that were fouls on pitt not called. We did not rebound well though.

he's gained my confidence down the stretch. canadian kid is cool under pressure.

I think I saw something like the ACC had 10 of the top 50 defensive teams in the country or something crazy like that?

Bilas said the ACC has turned into The Big a East in terms of style of play.

Today was certainly defensive boards, but that was the first time were over 50 percent in awhile and we were in the 30's against Miami and UNC. Also, we just aren't creating a lot in terms of easy offensive or free throws. I'm not saying we suck by any means, but I'd like to see us create more easy offense and play at a slightly faster pace.

The low score was impacted by many more 35 second shot clock resets than usual. I didn't see it being a particularly bad offensive game.

Yeah Pitt missed the rim twice and the shot clock was reset when they got their rebound with less than four seconds. Refs today ugh

How many turnovers and forced shots has he had???

As others have said, the pace of this game was incredibly slow. I don't know how much of a "kenpom/advanced stat guy" JB is & even he said it's about as well as they can play offensively.

About the only spot where I'd like to see Ennis do anything different or more aggressive is just pull the trigger on the 3 when it's wide open. On one possession in the 1st half he pulled a needless shotfake & gave it to Cooney who jacked that "running off a screen with a hand in his face 3" which, doesn't seem to go in very often.

Need to see the efficiency numbers but score more is relative to number of possessions.
agreed! we shot 51% the issue is possessions. Teams try to slow the game down on us because quick shots lead to SU run outs!
