My one complaint for last night

This is turning into a bit of theme for me. And my 12-year old son would like this addressed as well because I end up yelling at him every time it happens.

For the love of all that is Holy, if you are going to foul someone, please please please make sure they DO NOT MAKE THE SHOT! I just watched the highlights again and saw Allen take it to the rim and our Tyler Lyndon (must have had the C-team on the desk tonight) allowed him to score and got the foul. Jump straight up, just stand there, or rip both of his arms out of his body and throw them to the opposite end of the floor. But DON'T FOUL AND GIVE UP THE BASKET!!!!

I know. The pros have learned this, but in college all too often the reaction of the players is to pull back when they hear the whistle.

When you whistle, foul the guy HARDER to make sure they don't get the shot off. Whistle's already been blown.

I might be thinking of a different play, but I'm not sure Tyler really fouled Allen on that play. Allen initiated all the contact, on those, I sort of understand the hesitancy not to foul. The dude lunged into you - your arms come down because of the offensive contact - did he ever touch Allen? All the contact was Allen hitting Lydon in the chest with his body turned. It's not really you fouling them. It looked like a no-call to me.

I'd have to see that play again though to say for sure, so not disagreeing...only got one replay, and may be thinking of a different play.

Yes!!!! We must have the weakest And-1's given up by this team. Drives me crazy. Love tap fouls under the basket.
