My Question(s) or Comments (or theories)

“Coach, I was 15 years old when our 10th ranked team went out to California in 1968, turned the ball over 9 times and lost 0-43. I cried myself to sleep that night thinking about that game. That 15 year old is still in me and he thanks you, even after all these years, for beating the Bears Saturday.

I think our best performances this year have been against Georgia Tech, UNLV, NC State and Cal. We really dominated these games but let the other team make those games closer than they needed to be. It’s frustrating because I’d like the rest of the country to see how good this team is. What can we do to finish these games strong?”

For the twitch segment:

“Coach, you’ve now twice taken teams out to the west coast and they have performed well and won the games over pretty good opponents. We’ll be making some more west coast trips in the future. What’s the secret to winning those games?”

I submitted my question about how we plan to use the extra 20 scholly spots. Really curious to hear the answer, hope they get to it.

He might take offense to the suggestion that the Cal score was closer than it needed to be. Unlike those other games you listed, we seemed to be in control. It only got a little interesting with the onside kick.

I'd be curious to know how their game prep has evolved week-to-week. We've heard rumors, for instance, the staff seemed to rest on the laurels of beating GT when they prepped for Stanford. I'd like to know how they are approaching what could be a letdown game this week.

linebackers, defensive lineman and cornerbacks.
