  • The most important thing was getting the win. We needed it and got it
  • Very exciting to see Devito's continued growth. Very little to quibble with-hurt to get sacked and get knocked out of FG range one time. back and forth or Int drop discussed elsewhere
  • Trishtan Jackson was a man-Need him to keep it up.
  • Nice to see Hackett getting involved. He's so consistent (knock on wood)
  • I know people were excited about the improvement of the O-Line. I'm still seeing too many plays with nowhere to run. The Devito runs helped the YPC, but it's going to have to keep improving, for us to win 8-9 games this year. Ocassional runs by TD will be key to opening up the Offense
  • The good news it seems every year under Babers we start off the year not able to run against anyone and improve over the course of the year. Hopefully, this pattern continues
  • I mentioned elsewhere if Adams keeps fumbling, he could lose his spot in the rotation. This is what hurt him in Oklahoma and is the 2nd one in 4 games already this year. He has a lot of talent, but we've had very few fumbles with this staff, so you know it's something they emphasize. Hopefully, he figures it out. If not, I'm sure Jarveon is chomping at the bit for more carries.
  • Very pleased to see several 4th down stops by the D-Says a lot about them
  • Very displeased to see the WMU TE, Ricci, wide open seemingly every play. I'm sure he's good, but I saw plays where the defense was playing so off him, he was off the screen until the snap. We need to fix that up.
  • Hope Benson will develop into our Ricci
  • Bellamy is really, really good. If we're being honest, that injury (along with Eskridge) really hurt them.
  • Well executed shovel pass in the red zone by us and pick play by them
  • Still too many missed tackles-Cordy, Lakiem. I'd personally prefer more Stritzinger (who always plays well when given a chance) and less Cordy.
  • Though our Kickers continue to excel, our return game has really taken some steps back from last year.
  • Not sure what's going on with our slot WR's. Riley was fantastic for us the 2nd half of last year-Hope he can step it up again, as he's a real YAC weapon when he gets it.
  • Thought they were calling it pretty tight with the Pass Interferences
  • Bottom line, this win keeps the season wide open to reach some lofty goals if we can continue to improve. 2 big keys (other than health): Improved Run blocking, Continued improvement in the red zone
