Thanks, Niko. Love the analysis even though I may disagree on a few points.
I still think that we can catch LSU on the letdown: They will be coming off two reasonably tough games and we will be warming up to them with reasonably winnable games. They will see us as a break in their schedule while we will be keyed up and in the Dome. Catch a little lightening in a bottle and Syracuse pulls off the upset (the LSU seeks revenge on the remainder of their schedule).
I think 6-6 is the low mark and 10-2 is the high mark for this team. I predict 8 wins with Syracuse being in all of the games going into the 4th quarter.
I think the offense scores more points and that eases the burden on the defense long enough to get up to Shafer/Bullough standards. I would not be surprised if this O averages 30 or more per game and the D decreases its allowed points/game. Just keeping the O on the field longer should decrease the D's allowed points/game.
