Thought we didn't see Carey/Hima more in part because it was a game where we had a height advantage at most spots even in a 3-guard lineup and we were playing to win as opposed to simply subbing and treating it like a true scrimmage.

I have some more observations I'll throw in a more general season outlook type thread but I thought generally that none of the freshmen looked 'great' in the way that a melo/gmac/lydon/johnny flynn did the first time i saw them, which makes me nervous. Edwards is by far the best player on the team, I'd say Joe easily second best. Benny looked better, which is good and we have some depth, which is good, but I think this team is still a ways away from being a finished product that is talking NCAA. Obviously early and IUPUI -- even if this annoys people -- was tough, but wouldn't be shocked if there are some rocky stretches ahead.
