Was very hard to see RC play uber aggressively again.
That's a fun way to say you had too many whiskeys.I must have been really tired when I read this post last night because I didn't see any typos and had to read it again to see what people were talking about.
Agreed...but what's a fatcheric?
I had a bad feeling about this one.
Used that voice recognition from my iPhone to post it. I think Tom Emery updated the board on Friday...because of that or something else, I could not use to make a post so I did it in Safari.
But with Safari, there was a chatbox window positioned in the middle of my screen, prevented me from even seeing what I had just said and the transcription. So I was largely flying blind. Once I was done, I should have gone back and reviewed the whole thing but I was asleep almost immediately.
So whatever I said that was confusing or messed up, I apologize for. If you think of words that sound like that was transcribed, perhaps you can figure it out. I think it is too late for me to fix at this point. The horses have left the barn.
I agree that we wore them down. There is so much talent to go around that an important difference between teams becomes their depth and they lacked depth.THANKS TOM...I think Cornell was playing like a mid-season team in the first half and their coach had them ready to play right out the gate, but we wore them down. I think that coach is going places
You can't coach height. A zone team should have tall guards.I am usually a glass-half-full kinda guy, but I am concerned about a developing trend of allowing teams that shoot the 3's well to shoot too many from the top of the zone; this may come back to bite us in the you know what. Also, many have pointed out how the the perimeter defense has gotten better in stretches of the game, but have not pointed to the obvious reason it has. In the Canada game against Carleson, the perimeter defense gave up a bunch of 3's early in the game that got the team behind, but the defense got better and number of 3's taken and made from the top of the zone dropped when Gbinije was inserted in the game. I saw the same yesterday against Cornell.
I hope this doesn't become a trend because we may not be able to recover against better teams that shoot a bunch of 3's like Puke.
