That is very true, but there are many forms of magnesium. I take a chelated form, magnesium glycinate, and have had no problems. Isn't gatorade, loaded with electrolytes, a big sponsor? Coconut water(not to be confused with oil) is also supposed to be very good for such uses, if I recall correctly. If the trainers can't prevent an ongoing cramp issue, they need to be Boeheimed!
