Did anyone else notice he played against CMU? The SU Athletics participation report verified that he played which would be his first action of the season.

Makes me wonder if the new RS rules allow players to "get their feet wet" as long as they play less than 4 games. Thoughts?

He's listed as playing in the CCSU game.

It's advanced far enough where any mistakes should have been corrected in the box scores RE: participation.

Fagan has played and will not redshirt this season, from the looks.

With only 2 LB's coming back next year with any real snap time it would be nice to have him get more comfortable on D.

He's on the CCSU Participation report.

Not according to the SU Athletics participation reports. CMU was his first.
Specifically remember seeing him on the field for CCSU. Not 100% sure about MTSU.

We can't nor should we redshirt everyone. He was an early enrollee and physically mature. If anyone should play as a frosh he should.

Early enrollee, yes. Don't believe he's physically mature at this point. Did he get on the field for Defense at the end of either blowout?

Agreed...he might be physically mature if he were a safety but 200lb LB's need time in the S&C program.

He's 6'1 200 as a True frosh. The guy starting at his position is 6'1 209 as a true senior.

I could understand if we were talking about Sean Riley here last year or something.

I saw him enter the game on ST.

Kid might only tip the scales at 200 but he can lay pipe. There was a clip of him from spring practice where he absolutely leveled K Hahn on a quick pop over the middle. The speed of the whole sequence was unreal. Normally I'm not impressed when guys do that to walk-ons but I honestly don't know how that kid is still alive.

One thing I've noticed is that I can think of Culpepper and Jaquan Nelson being the only Florida kids who've redshirted. Maybe we'll add Hackett to the list. Florida kids may be a more ready to play but part of me wonders if it isn't part of the pitch.
