Nait George in the portal

He’ll be good elsewhere. Not a culture fit for the GMAC way.

He will need someone that runs the same system Stoudamire did. His success was heavily built on running a system a specific way vs having the keys to be a true PG. He absolutely could succeed but if it’s not similar to how it was at GT he will be ok but his ceiling is much lower than thought.

So in the end we keep Kiyan maybe Fennel and hopefully White and Nait if he gets another year?
I wouldn’t put any expectation beyond just Kiyan returning. Just the nature of the business when you have a coaching change.

Moesch is a definite alpha. Watched snippets of him and read interviews, like Doty, he has the GMAC killer mentality and is a workaholic.
But as a freshman, GMAC needs to find an experienced point guard to run the show for at least a year or two. I think this is the highest priority for GMAC in the portal.

If Moesch is our starting point guard...

Would have liked to see what George might have done in a more structured offensive system.

But ultimately, it didn't work. Glad for the roster turnover, and wish Nait the best wherever he lands.

Personally I think we saw that at GT and instead of it being a stepping stone it was more like he maxed out and reached his ceiling as a player.

Kiyan , Luke and Kingz( if he gets a waiver) would be the 3 I’m guessing that stay and I’m completely fine with that. I do like Sadiq a lot but he’s not some unicorn unique player.
