People want him back if he can play within a system and be a two way player. They don’t want him to be a “Give me the ball and get out of my way” player and they don’t want to pay him so much that it impedes getting other players.

Nah, definitely not screwed. Keep in mind most of this banter is speculation. If the NIL reaches the levels that many predict, we should be able to assemble a very competitive roster. But, the time to worry about the roster is after we see how it all shapes up.

Even at $12M, I don't think we will be able to afford more than 1 or 2 top end additions with the exponentially larger NIL offers that we are likely to see.

It will be very interesting to see how this staff determines relative value and allocates funds in this market.

Getting 2 should be very realistic with 12 million I think. Center first then PG. There are a lot of options at PG already that would be major upgrades and you don’t have to snag one of the 3 most expensive to come away with a win.

Gotcha! Well I think tbh it’s a lot of speculation like you said I can’t see the market rising up that much. I just want a roster that can compete and maybe get into the second weekend! Guess we will see! I trust Gmac he’s done great so far!
