NAME THE BEST TRANSFERS WHO PLAYED FB. @ SU.

You can find it on the recruiting forum. Otherwise, I would have pretended that era never happened.

Threw a very catchable ball. Ask our first two opponents that year as they seemed to catch them all.

LOL that is awesome!! Man, I had such high hope too...

The coaching staff didn't realize Drew was color blind until around his 3rd game.

When you count completions to either team, his % was off the charts!

Drew Allen...man that name hasnt entered my brain space in a long long time

Drew was our first grad transfer. The rule was you could play immediately if your new school had a course your old one didn't have. Drew didn't remember the name of his course here and had to look it up when Bud Poliquin asked him what it was.

Who remembers Shawn Collins, a LB from Michigan, who was slated to transfer to SU in 1993 of ‘94? It was actually announced by the SU Football communications team. However, he never played here because he was disqualified with some eye injury? I don’t think he ever played football again, but I could be wrong about that.

The Mole has a good list of JUCO guys we took in the 1990s. A lot of fails but Eric Downing, Dave Dunkin and Olindo Mare were all very good.

Brent Ziegler was a decent FB from the early 1980s. Lynwood Alford was a good OLB around the same time. They were both JUCOs. Alford was good and I think he played some in the NFL for the Steelers.
I think we took a JUCO PK out of Cali...named Kevin Greene?, who was decent.

Clayton Welch did well for us in limited playing time. Another JUCO.

Hopefully Isaiah Jones and Darius Tisdale end up becoming big contributors. Darius is starting already and I think he doing decently.

When you said Downing, i thought Keith Downing who i think is a doctor now. He was a very athletic backup qb who i don't think saw the field for an entire game. Could use him right now too

Keith had the misfortune to play behind Donovan McNabb. No question, he had a lot of talent too. Eric was drafted by the Chiefs in the 3rd round.

WhT was the name of the fullback from Cornell? About 5-6 years ago?
