Need to get this kid an extra year. He'd be a perfect fit for how GMac describes he wants to play.

Kingz can shoot it. He works hard defensively. He can put it on the floor and get to the basket. He is a strong, physical player.

He'd be perfect for the system GMac indicates he wants to play. If he returns, I would expect that he would be the featured cog offensively.

I thought it was confirmed already that his request for another year was denied. Is he appealing that decision? Pretty sure Tomcat mentioned it in one thread and I believe I have seen it mentioned by others. Is it confirmed?

That said, what was the reasoning for requesting the extra year? Looks like he started or played significant minutes in all of his respective team's games for 4 years.

He won’t get the waiver approved outright first time, and the NCAA will 1000% make him sue if he really wants another year. His best bet is suing and trying to get an injunction ruling like Pavia since he is capable of earning NIL money and would miss out on that earning power if not granted one more year (would be the precedent to argue). Mainly this is about his one JUCO year.

I don't think the 5 for 5 would help. You would only have eligibility for 5 years after HS graduation or 5 years after your 19th birthday (whichever happens earliest). He is already 6 years post HS graduation and I believe he turns 24 at the beginning of November. I'd love to have him back, but to be honest there needs to be an end to the madness of waivers and exceptions.

Why doesn’t he just hire a law firm and file suit against the NCAA? Works for the SEC.

Edit: sorry for rehashing the same opinion. Actually, I’m not. We owe it to the NCAA for their years of abuse towards our program.
