This is why it is almost impossible for a program like UConn to ever get good at football.

The immediate transfer rule makes it so easy for good players to upgrade to a better program with more amenities, more visibility, better coaches and more fans.

And for programs with no fanbase and no money like UConn, NIL makes a bad situation 10 times worse.

The have nots are really just farm teams better programs can use to address weaknesses as needed.
