Feels like. Just like we’ve had plan b essentially chambered for every negative announcement so far, this could be the same.Sean's announcement have anything to do with that

I wouldn't categorize sean going to the league as a negativeFeels like. Just like we’ve had plan b essentially chambered for every negative announcement so far, this could be the same.
For sure, but negative relative to one of the options on the table. I think we’ve been great about having plan b’s in place…and it would be nice if this really is a plan b for Sean leaving.I wouldn't categorize sean going to the league as a negative
Seems some fans just prioritize different things. As a fan of the program with no relation to a single player on the team my interest is in the program succeeding. I see losing any productive player as a negative because I'm a fan of the program. So regardless of why a player leaves; injury, graduation, nfl or portal I will see it as a negative if they were a net benefit to the team. Hope the kids succeed in their life but I'm also a fan and therefore selfish, I want them to play out their entire eligibility here. If they don't then bummer. For sure, but negative relative to one of the options on the table. But I suppose any of these guys leaving could be positioned as “not negative.” They’re all levering their time at SU for a more lucrative next step.
Ike had a beast of a season this year. The guy comes in with allot of talent. So does Parkman. He is seriously fast and a player. The Spring game will be fun to watch with some carries available in 2023 with Tucker going Pro.Forgot about Ike, he’s gonna be a good one methinks
I think this is the real consequence. Imagine being a HS kid and choosing between riding the bench at an SU type school for a year or two, or going to a lower level program, playing right away, and then just transferring to jump over the kid that was "being developed".I hate it, particularly as it messes over the guys who were waiting and now ready for their opportunity only to get recruited over.
Boooo
To Michigan State
The coaches job is to bring in the best players. The job of the kid already on the team is to be better than anyone they bring in. (My son was on both ends of that.)I hate it, particularly as it messes over the guys who were waiting and now ready for their opportunity only to get recruited over.
Keep in mind that Pena could certainly be a pretty good RB if needed. That's what he played in HS and started playing at Syracuse before being moved to the slot.Carter is a quality RB. I'm curious, how many are needed on the roster? I'd prefer 5 myself and I really like what SU has and if they rotate better than they did last year I think this group could be quite special.
