They are: 1. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss 2. Cam Ward, Miami 3. Josh Hoover, TCU 4. Garrett Nussmeier, LSU 5. Chandler Morris, UNT 6. Shadeur Sanders, Colo 7. Alan Bowman. OKSt 8. Brendan Sorsby, Cinn 9. Kyle Mccord, SYR 10. Billy Edwards, MD. It is obvious when looking at the numbers which QB's have a team whose OL is protecting them, for example 6. Shadeur Sanders has been sacked 17 times, the most of any QB in the top ten.

The rankings include CMP, ATT, CMP %, YDS, AVG, LNG, TD, INT, SACK, RTG. They are from ESPN. I have not included everyone only several comparisons. I wanted to do a top ten list but when you take the time to type everything out then copy paste it here, the system does its thing and it all ends up in the left hand corner and is very hard to read so apologies for that - it just doesn't work that well. To see the top 100 QB rankings, please go to College Football Offense Passing All Conferences Stat Leaders, 2024 Season - ESPN

Interesting numbers. He’s tied for 8th with two others in attempts of the top 25. Teams actually throw it more than us ;-).

Sack numbers he’s tied for 6th of the top 25 with 9 sacks. 2 other QBs also have 9. Nebraska QB at #25 has 8 sacks on only 142 attempts. Nebraska OLine is giving up more sacks per attempt.

Some of these statistics are misleading as McCord has played in 4 games because of the bye week and not 5 like the other teams. He would no doubt be right up there or ahead in several of the categories like yards, TDs, etc.

He’s first in yards per game and attempts per game. The only guys ahead of him in total td’s have played five games.

I missed the game disparity. Friday’s gonna be interesting.

Dart is a great name for a QB. I’m sure that Coach Fran would have liked to recruit him, but imagine the confusion that would have caused.
