NC State: 8 PM / ACC Network

Noon now that both teams are garbage in the eyes of most nationwide?

Slim pickings for ACC games for that week:.

GameConferenceTelevision Options
Georgia Tech at North CarolinaACCABC, ESPN Networks, ACC Network, The CW or ACCNX
Syracuse at NC StateACCABC, ESPN Networks, ACC Network, The CW or ACCNX
California at PittACCABC, ESPN Networks, ACC Network, The CW or ACCNX
Louisville at VirginiaACCABC, ESPN Networks, ACC Network, The CW or ACCNX
Clemson at Wake ForestACCABC, ESPN Networks, ACC Network, The CW or ACCNX

Even with their troubles, I think Clemson is playing in prime time. Probably on ESPN. Don’t see any of these games good enough to get assigned to ABC.

I think the worst game goes to ACCNX or CW. There aren’t enough games to put one on ACCNX so let’s eliminate that possibility. So the worst game goes on CW. I will put GT at UNC there. UNC will probably have 3 losses by then and GT at least 2. Not great.

UL should be ranked and UVA is having a good season, so I see this as the second best game of the week. I will slot them into a 4 PM game on ESPN or ESPN2. Maybe on ACCN.

I think Cal at Pitt will be the next choice. Pitt will probably be ranked. They get the 8 pm ACCN slot.

And that leaves Syracuse at NC State at noon. Probably on ACCN. If NC State can beat Northern Illinois and Wake at home, and SU can beat UNLV, this game might move to 4 pm. It is going to be hard to get a night slot.

This turned out to be a very good time slot.
Wow, we are playing a lot of night games this year.

I like night games at home, do not like them on the road. I think the home team gets a bigger advantage with a night game. The crowds are louder and drunker.

NC State has a frosh QB and he is really struggling. There are worse times to play them than right now.

Ugh this sucks. Might eat my $100 rt flight.

I guess I won’t even book a hotel and just see who lets me check in at 8am when I land. can’t catch a break I wanted noon.

I just realized (even though it's probably been pointed out dozens of times) that we only have this one Saturday game in October.

This season has shaped up well in terms of not having kid event conflicts, especially with this one being 8 pm.

5 Saturday games in November, but I'm attending the bookends of that.

NCSt is not good. They are 12th or lower in the conference in every major offensive and defensive category including 16th in total offense and 14th in total defense.

Agree.

If we are going to a bowl, we have to win games like this one. We must do a better job playing against weaker opponents on the road in conference play.

I work nights so not crazy about the time as I'll have to take two hours off to watch the second half. The world doesn't revolve around me though, and more importantly it will make for a more hostile crowd unfortunately.

Good continued TV exposure though.

My world revolves around you if that makes you feel better.

This is what the Wolfpack has been reduced to …

171 total yards at home against Northern Illinois. Is that good?

I agree but hate night games in Raleigh. I’m still getting over Terry Holt’s break out.

My wifes family is having some fall party mid day.. i guess this works out better for me to watch.
