Alright, this Moyer parent stuff has gotten boring. Looking ahead, you simply can't overstate the importance of this NC State game. In my opinion, it's our most important game of the year bar none.

We are extremely close right now in terms of seeding and computer numbers. At this moment, they're probably just in, and we're probably just on the outside. We're both sitting at 6-6 in conference. And they have way better elite wins than we do having beaten Duke and UNC. We have to be able to separate ourselves from them in the eyes of the selection committee. Losing at home would be a killer.

Our last five games are a gauntlet with @ Miami, @ Duke, @ BC, UNC, Clemson. 2-3 is probably a reasonable ceiling here.

There's no way to sugarcoat it, if we want to play in the NCAA tournament, we can't lose to NC State on Wednesday.

Couldn't agree more. I think by 11 pm wed we will know if we're an ncaa tournament team .

Eh, lot of season left no matter the outcome.

I want the win and think we'll get it.

I agree this game is huge. Even if we win it I think we go 1-4 in the final 5 and miss the tourney but beating NC State would keep the dream alive a little longer.

I am now feeling acutely anxious and nauseated. It’s great to be a fan!

(P.S. I agree with you.)

Beating NC State = necessary yet not sufficient. I think we'll know we are out of it if we lose, but winning just keeps us in the running

Top 2 teams in the league for steals.

Nice.

I still don't think we will need to do anything at all in the ACC tourney if we go 3-3. (assuming that first game is a non bad loss)

Anyway, one game at a time, and it will be hard enough to find 3 wins here on out... very hard if we lose this one.

its crazy to think how we lost a couple games on layup plays and could be 3-4th right now with all the issues these team has.
Yep, we could be Clemson.

Big question in this one too is do our guys have the legs to go get a critical win. This game is just as big for NC State as despite their big wins it puts them at double digit losses already plus losses to Northern Iowa and UNC Greensboro in the non conf.

It’s not a “must win” but winning makes getting to 9-9 in the ACC a lot more achievable.

I think we all see the path to 9-9 as NCSU, and 2 out of UNC/@BC/Clemson.

However, it doesn’t mean we can’t win @Miami or @Duke to get to 9-9. It’s just a less likely path.

I think we will have a tough time and don't expect a W. I think we lose to NC STate (who I think is in the dance) but win at Miami and beat Clemson. I don't think we beat Duke or UNC and I think the season will ride on winning at BC which will not be the layup everyone expects.

Beating Clemson and Miami would be really big. In my unexpert opinion, it appears that the committee really valued who you beat more than bad losses in the top 16 seedings yesterday.
