For the life of me I can't get why some people on here actually root for the old BE. The only team with any redeeming qualities is Providence. The rest of that conference either hates us or is part of the epidemic that is killing CBB.

Providence is one of the biggest reasons the conference blew up. Every commissioner of the BE had ties to PC. Gavitt was a genius, but the last two guys carried more about basketball than taking care of the football schools. Once Gavitt left the conference was screwed.

True. I just meant Cooley seems like a good guy and play a decent brand of basketball. The rest of that conference...Nova, Butler, Xavier, Georgetown, St Johns...yea, I'm good not having to play with those jokers.
