NC State on TV today

NY Times said it was on YES. (It isn't).

Directv Guide said it was on 648 (it isn't)

Espn3 says they have it and it is "not blacked out" in my area. (It is).

With all that "teasing," I figured it had to be somewhere on my 1000 channel Directv service, so I just kept clicking up the dial. Finally found it on 725 (which the guide lists simply as having "Basketball").

Anyhow, after all that searching, I found it with 11 minutes to go in the first half, and NC State was mauling some 5-4 over-matched MEAC team which is somehow ranked either 4th or 5th nationally in PPG, APG and field goal percentage. .

And while I was typing this, NC Central closed the lead from 12 pts to six. So maybe this will be a game afterall.

Looks like they are going to put CJ Leslie in the middle of our zone... he is very athletic and talented and can certainly do something with it there. We are going to have to try to deny / pressure that pass somehow.

The Wolfpack usually play in the RBC Center, but they are forced to play on the ladies court today because the RBC Center, according to their website, is hosting Disney on Ice.

I believe what you are looking at is Reynolds Coliseum which used to be the mens home court before RBC.

RBC Center is about 6 1/2 miles west of downtown Raleigh, easily accessible directly off I 40.
