NC State Predictions...

In its infinite wisdom, the Athletic Dept has scheduled a basketball game to start halfway through the second quarter of the football game tomorrow. If things get grim on the football side, fans have a guilt-free mechanism to leave it all behind and still root for an Orange team. Many, like me, will switch back and forth anyway while following the play by play of the other one online. If NCState starts doing unspeakable things to us (and I'm not saying they will), rather than running out for a Venti Xanax Frappuccino it is a short hop to the warm glow of the Boeheim Family.

In their defense, the only way to completely avoid was to schedule it on Sunday. Not sure if that was ever an option.

The football game had potential TV slots all day and we were at the mercy of the 6 day ESPN rule.

That said, I think it might be the perfect halftime relief. Even if we play much harder, NC State's passing game is likely to pick apart our safeties. And I don't know who here feels good about our offense keeping up lately.

35 Pack
13 and I’ll need a pack (of flower power)

Somewhat OT: any chance the Dome would put the game on the non-court side of that fancy shmancy new scoreboard?

I’ll be at the bball game but would love to watch football before tip/at halftime etc.

Why didn’t we wait to decide what time the basketball game would be until we knew what time football was

6 day window

You have to schedule refs, work help and be a good partner to Colgate...plus there are lots of other sports events going on that day too.

BTW, both Mens and Women's XC teams are in the NCAAs Championship in Tallahassee this am.

I'm sure they waited as late as possible and took a calculated gamble on SU's kickoff time.

I mean Louisville moved through our secondary like a hot knife through cow

Raising Canes Tenders 35
Tully’s tenders 10

Tully’s has the better tenders by the way. Canes is so grossly overrated
Minor quibble, but I don’t think there is a Raising Canes within a hundred miles of Raleigh.
