I’m obviously getting ahead of ourselves, but can you imagine what it would do to our program if we win the next two games? Bananas.

Had a very long dream about this game. I flew in from the West Coast and had multiple delays - got stuck in the Philadelphia airport for 5 hours but arrived halfway through the 1st quarter... Multiple turnovers occurred, no team moved it past the 50 yard line through the 3rd quarter and the crowd was sitting on their hands. I was so frustrated that I stormed out and ended up in a field somewhere between Cortland and Ithaca where a watch party was taking place. There was one NC State fan that was making fun of Syracuse the whole time and of course, was seated right next to me on a flannel couch. With 2 minutes left, still nobody had moved the ball past the 50 yard line but on 3rd and 20, Syracuse gets called for roughing the passer moving the ball to the NC State 45 or thereabouts. NC State runs it up the gut 3 straight plays and crowd is finally back into it. Then on 4th down, QB scramble results in NC State player running 9 yards and out at the Syracuse 46. Referee runs from behind the play and overrules the line judge and says he made it the 44 and gives NC State a first down. NC State gets up to the 36 yard line and kicks a field goal as time expires - Syracuse tips the ball, it skips along the turf and bounces all the way to the goal posts and takes a large bounce in the endzone and clears the uprights. ACC officials rule that it counts and NC State wins 3-0. I woke up sweating a bunch and not feeling great.

My real prediction now is Syracuse 3, NC State 0.
