Hope it provides enjoyment for some. For maybe the first time ever, as someone who used to take leave every year to watch I couldn’t care less.

Two, well coached, physical teams with players that understand and accept their roles. Watching this first 8 minutes truly shows you how far Syracuse has to go just to be an 8 or 9 seed.

The quick adjustment made by the ville, double down on the center, two quick steals and hoops. So, a TO by Creighton and they adjust. We didn't see that this year. Once.

Louisville looks like sheet. Creighton playing very well.

Really shocking to me. I thought this would be one of the better first round games and thought Louisville could make a run in the tourney. Not a great look for the ACC

Louisville was over seeded

Despite the score today, I still think Louisville got jobbed a bit and should have been a #7 maybe #6 seed... not that it makes any real impact in round #1. The real impact of getting an 8 seed is your round of 32 matchup.

I'm certainly not blaming today's pounding on their seed -- 9, 10, 11's they are all about the same quality unless you get the MWC team. Maybe if they won today they had something to complain about... not anymore.

Crazy stat according to announcers doing the Louisville game. No team has comeback from a 15 point halftime deficit in the round of 64 since 1990.

That's hard to believe. There have been about 1000 round of 64 games since 1990 (even if we exclude the 1/2/3/4 seed games where its unlikely to fall behind by that much and win, it stills over 500 games)

If the announcers were indeed accurate, it's a crazy stat.

They said something like 190-0 for teams leading by 15 at halftime

What happened to the Louisville player? I watched the replay a few times and I still can't tell how he hurt himself. He was obviously in a lot of pain and can't put any weight on his right foot.

Rolled the ankle that was already hurt.

Creighton shooting 50% from three and Loooyville is 26% ... that'll do it.
