Never trust Steve Alford. Watched him coach 8 years at Iowa with my dad. He's not good and also not a very nice person from what I have read about his dealings around Iowa City.

I live in Iowa City. Everything I have heard about him during his time here was not good (which includes how he handled things in the program as well as in the community). He makes McCaffery look like a saint…….and that is hard to do.
