As Harlan was doing our 2012 game against UNC-Asheville he was blatantly cheering for the 16 seed as he got caught up in moment and became biased. It was very unprofessional and I lost some respect for him because of that. He is still very good, but it will always be a mark against him in my book.
There was that foul on Asheville on a FT that Harlan decided shouldn't have been called because he didn't like the rule / wanted the upset.. then there was a play with about 20 seconds left in a scramble where the play should have been stopped for a UNC foul, but as play continued the ball went out of bounds off Syracuse, but Syracuse was allowed to keep it. In the replay, the analyst mentioned the initial clearly missed foul call on Asheville and Harlan would refuse to acknowledge that comment, and then ranted on the missed out of bounds call.
