NCAA 2nd Round Games for Sat March 22

Luis was horrendous. Big East POY, 2nd Team AA, and BENCHED for the final 3 minutes...that is INSANE. He was that bad.

Smith played well, and was bailing them out a bit until that goaltend. After that, he was atrocious.

Scott sucked.

Kadary didn't really play much. I think only 2 of those were fouls (especially in a game being called like this) - the rest were iffy or just straight up not fouls.

Ejiofor was great. He deserved better.

Oh wellz, SJU!

I know we don't have room to chirp, but I'll enjoy St John's having their best season in a long time and still not making the Sweet 16

Bad call on Richmond but too many fouls committed too early in the game. The game has just become a total foul fest though. Two coaches that do have a history of “you can’t call them all“ - remember those Louisville teams? Game sure is ugly.
i think im still scarred from that lousville game in 06, i just went back and looked there was 59 combined fouls and 5 guys fouled out, two days later against west virginia there was 20 fouls

We could be looking at a Sweet 16 with 15 teams from the SEC, BIG, B12 ... and Duke.

I'll pretty much be cheering for any opponents of those above teams (except UConn of course)
Texas Tech vs Drake
Michigan St vs New Mexico
Maryland vs Colorado St
Houston vs Gonzaga
Alabama vs St Mary's
Duke vs Baylor

The Big East was a real physical foul heavy “no blood no foul” conference. Remember when they even experimented allowing players 6 fouls a game before fouling out - just encouraged more fouling and was changed back to 5.

St. John's must have set a record for the number of missed layups in a game. They couldn't get hardly any to fall. I realize the physicality of Arkansas had something to do with it, but come on.
Kadary came up super small in the biggest game of his college career.

BTW, can't stand used car salesman Cal. Hope they're out next game.

On another string someone suggested Cuffe going to St. John’s……he would fit in perfectly

We made an appearance.

I turned on the Auburn game for one second and Kalkbrenner just got an imaginary foul call.

I would back up the brinks truck for Stirtz from Drake. 6 assists, no turnovers so far and an incredible scorer. He plays effortlessly

That basket inference call properly went against Michigan... just want a good finish here.

He's going to get big money offers in a lot of places, and might just follow his coach for a nice incrase.

The issue ultimately is what can we offer outside of cash that will sell us against others . Syracuse 2025 is not Syracuse 2005.
