I had to look this up and it's a lot different than I expected from what other posters said it was.
Now the committee is looking at each team’s record in four “quadrants,” and here’s how those quadrants break down:

  • Quadrant 1: Home games vs. teams RPI ranked 1-30, neutral games vs. 1-50, away games vs. 1-75
  • Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, neutral 51-100, away 76-135
  • Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, neutral 101-200, away 136-240
  • Quadrant 4: Home 161-plus, neutral 201-plus, away 241-plus

So they officially track the average of all indicators. Why wouldn't they at least use the average to rank teams to determine quality victories.
 
I fear that those 2 quad3 losses are going to ultimately be the difference between good and bad side of the bubble.
