NCAA Elite Eight Games for March 30

What was Perkins thinking.

I thought you were using the fact that Gonzaga is losing tonight to show that we could take them,

To me Gonzaga is losing because Tech is a good team... a much better team than us.

I wasn't. Tech is stout defensively. Syracuse can ugly a game up and slow things down to make it uncomfortable for Gonzaga. TTU has been using a swarming zone.

Texas Tech won this game because Mooney supported Cullver.
That technical call was such a bad call.
It’s amazing how awful college refs truly are.
They are embarrassing bad compared to the NBA or college football refs.

Maybe Few isn’t such a superstar coach

Go Virginia

Always thought that was a delay of game warning the first time and a techical the second time?

Or was that the second time?

It appeared to be the first and that was after the refs completely botched the Owens play where he was clearly out of bounds.
College basketball refs are an embarrassment to the sport. They are just so bad so often. There is no accountability and the sport doesn’t get better officials.

There is no warning. That was the rule years ago. It was the correct call. Higgins had no choice. He had to make that call. Gonzaga had way too many turnovers. As talented as their two bigs are, they must have lost the ball more than ten times in the lane. They were a little out of control all day. Texas Tech is very good. I’ve never seen a team get as many pokes in the paint and deflections as Texas Tech. They are better offensively than I thought. They could win the tournament.

Clark from Virginia has no chance guarding Edwards. He will just shoot over him the entire game.

I'm sorry man, but the technical foul was exactly the right call. They kicked several others (like Owens out of bounds after the block), but that one they got right. And none of the three should advance.

They got arm on several of those sweep checks.

Watching Purdue’s offense in complete jealousy

I laughed at the "don't give up on love, Francis!" commercial the first time I saw it. The 57th time, not so much.

If Texas Tech can build and win like this, we have no excuse. Have you ever been to Lubbock? Woof!

Carson Edwards plays a like a good shooting version of Allen Iverson.
You can’t stop him.

The Purdue PG Edwards is so talented at the PG position it’s jaw dropping in comparison to what we have been viewing on the hill recently

Virginia had Hunter guarding Edwards. Hunter bottled up Battle. If he can contain Clarke, it would be amazing. Hunter is a really good defender.
