I’d say I agree except I always see UConn fans trolling us on Twitter when they get the chance.

Little brothers never become big brothers, no matter how much more successful they are.

UConn is miles ahead of us in legacy and championships and whatever. That won’t stop us giving them noogies.

The funny thing is within the last month they were completely blasted by St. John’s and lost to a 12 win Marquette team. At this point I think teams tighten up when they play them in the tournament. Even last year Florida almost choked it away against them at the end.

That would explain alot of this madness. The 2011 and 2014 teams weren’t that good and got incredibly lucky. The 2023 and 2024 teams were really really dominant. Those teams deserved it. The current UConn team is somewhere in the middle of those two polarities. I thought they would lose in the sweet 16 or elite eight.

This is how I feel about Duke and UNC. They’re blue bloods and they’re not our historic rivals. What are we gonna do if they win another title. But Duke hasn’t actually won a title in 11 years. And UConn just won two back to back. Whether we’re rivals or not, you don’t want that program to win another title no matter who they are.

I stopped caring after their last title. I just want SU to be good again. We’re not in the same conference anymore and have no real crossover with them whatsoever. That won’t change until we get better.

Half of his drives feel like he’s just putting the ball up on the rim so his guys can go get it. It’s worked a couple times.
