I’m trying not to judge too harshly because USF was garbage a season ago and BH got them here right away, but with a clear talent disadvantage against a big boy school.

That said, I’ve seen nothing from a strategy/philosophy standpoint that makes me think, “darn, this guy’s different!”

I won’t say he is/was a bad candidate for the job. I won’t even say he isn’t/wasn’t the best attainable candidate for the job. I am going to struggle to consider arguments that he is/was a ‘runaway homerun hire’ with a straight face, though.

USF / Ville - hard to bully a bully. Louisville looks bigger and doesn't panic, or lack scorers, like Wichita St and the like.

But, USF is within reach. Just needs to tighten up the D. They are allowing layups.

I don’t like how BH seemed lost once Ville got up big. His guys struggled out of the gate to get going then he had very little to get them going in the second half and it got out of hand. Not only that but his two best players have really struggled as well.

He’s the same coach, same players….but Louisville offers more resistance. I think I mentioned si where else that he has to talent-up at the next level- which I think he will. But this isnt a great example of better coach g beats better talent. Still need players.

I know everyone loves Enis, but he’s too short at the 2 at the next level.
