That's the NCAA math - what I don't understand is how he gets this much time back when he Redshirted his Freshman year. Typically they're stingy with medical Redshirts if you already redshirt. Technically if you base it on past principal 2021 should have been his last year. He would have gotten 2020 back due to Covid.

It's beyond bizarre to me that they gave him 3 years back.

I thought Rhino would come back with the Covid year for the same reason. There are only so many opportunities to play competitively. Personally, I would have used every year of eligibility that I could have grabbed.
