SUs gonna struggle to score in transition, Maryland doesn't ride this year and purposely tries to limit transition O as much as possible. Gonna need to limit Marylands transition O opportunities and really need success in the six on six offensively

Yup and in our first game they specifically worked on essentially taking away any transition O and and we gave up a few transition goals. Marykands Offense is not prolific, we have to force them to score straight up vs transition or man up opportunities.

McNaney has been a problem to, have to change levels and locations on him

This will be an interesting game to breakdown. With MD you have to make plays and avoid mistakes, because they don't make many mistakes. In MD's losses against Rutgers and Ohio State, their goalies had fantastic games - Rutgers goalie had 14 saves and Big Tasty at OSU had 19. So McCool will have to play very well and we'll have to do something to get McNaney under 50%. Obviously we'll need a big game out of Mullen. In our first game, McCool and McNaney each had 12 saves and our faceoffs were dead even.

This was something I dug up from the old Maryland game thread:

Kyle on the radio mentioned that we shot "low-to-low" at least 3-4 times on McNaney, and he wasn't having any of it.

That's SU's Matty Palumb. At least it was at the start of the game. I guess he won't be doing our game(s) next week.

He used to work in the SU Athletic Dept. I got a nice card signed by him for a donation I made. Does he still work for SU?
