Just glancing over the latest Lunardi Bracketology, I noticed there are a lot of big name schools in seed lines that one wouldn't normally expect to see them in. I'm sure it's just the fact that they are all name brands, but I could see the following schools making serious noise in the tournament. In fact, I would venture a bet that the following mid-high seeded teams collectively go just as far if not further than the lower seeds below:

4 Seed: Mich St
6 Seed: Ohio St
6 Seed: UConn
6 Seed: Texas
7 Seed: Kentucky
8 Seed: Memphis
9 Seed: Baylor
10 Seed: Pitt

vs.

1 Seed: Wich. St
2 Seed: Villanova
2 Seed: Wisconsin
2 Seed: Virginia
2 Seed: Duke
3 Seed: Iowa St
3 Seed: Creighton
3 Seed: Michigan

That's an interesting bet, without seeing the matchups I would take the higher seeds.

7 seed UK is not something I want to see in our bracket. I think we match up very well with them but still...

wow pitt a 10 seed, they are seriously on the bubble.

this could be one of those years where no 1 seed makes the final 4

although now that I said that I wonder how often if ever that happens

According to CBS:

2011: 3UConn, 4- Kentucky, 8- Butler, 11-VCU

2006: 2-UCLA, 3-Florida, 4-LSU, 11-George Mason

1980: 2-Louisville, 5-Iowa, 6-Purdue, 8-UCLA

So what you're saying is that it is REALLY gonna be hard winning that Billion $$ for a perfect bracket?

I think Kentucky as a 7 seed is frightening. I don't think they are a very good team but I don't want any part of Julius Randle in the tournament.
