How many of them are clever enough to do that though?Really looking forward to all the ND fans grabbing season tickets to get to this one game for less than a single at ND stadium.

Seems like the perfect time for a badass alternate orange and black uniform.Being this game is near Halloween and will be on National TV since its ND, I would expect this game to be an ORANGE-OUT and for SU to wear All-Orange uniforms.
Don't be surprised. UVa supposedly has an increase in the number of season tickets sold in odd-numbered years because VPI fans buy them to get seats in C'ville because they can't get them in Blacksburg. Plus, the ND fans will be all over the secondary market trying to get tickets. How many of them are clever enough to do that though?
clemson georgia tech is set for the labor day acc gameWish we could move Wagner to 9/3.
Assuming not, that opener against Louisville pretty much has to happen. Clemson will likely open with Georgia Tech. Every other ACC team is accounted for on 9/3.
On the bright side, we should get an earlier bye week.
Yeah, I am expected at a family wedding on October 2 so I wasn’t thrilled about rumors that the ND game was going to be played then. Glad you had the pull to get the date changed. Thank you! This will make my fiancée happy. Getting married on 10/2 so when I told her that the ND game was the day before she just gave me the stare.

I'm a broken record on this, but 90s Big East was a lot of fun. Miami was arguably the best team in the nation, and like you said, embraced the role of villain. We had red-hot rivalries with West Virginia and Virginia Tech, and true regional opponents in BC, Pitt, Temple and Rutgers.Random thought. We've played in the same conference with Miami for 9 years. Notre Dame will have come to the Dome twice since Miami last did, in 2002.
Another random thought. I watched some of the 1992 Miami - SU game on YouTube last night. Even on a lower production quality broadcast, I could still feel (and instantly remember) how tense the Dome was that day. Miami used to be the most intimidating team by far, as true a villain as you could find.
The most intense the Dome has been for any game IMO. The charged atmosphere was palpable from 15 minutes before kickoff till the stop at the 3. Wish some of our younger posters could feel that.Random thought. We've played in the same conference with Miami for 9 years. Notre Dame will have come to the Dome twice since Miami last did, in 2002.
