Wow. The fact it was not mentioned on air... means that he chose to keep it private until after the game. Obviously even his players did not know it (or one of them would have said something about it). That was a powerful decision by Mike. He wanted it to be about his team, not him. In a situation like that, it takes a lot of courage to do that. Just gained a deeper respect for him as a person/coach. I've always liked him to begin with, think he is a genuine man.
