UCLA is in the Sweet 16, Nova is not.

UConn won the national title last year after getting smoked by Louisville in the conference tourney.

The best teams don't always advance in the Dance.

Wow Bray lost his mom this morning to a heart attack. Sad. I met him in a bar in NOLA after SU beat Texas on Saturday night and he was very nice and he was pulling for cuse that tourney.

Wow. Makes me happier they won tonight. Prayers to him and his family!
Wow. The fact it was not mentioned on air... means that he chose to keep it private until after the game. Obviously even his players did not know it (or one of them would have said something about it). That was a powerful decision by Mike. He clearly wanted the game to be about his players... and not about him

He wanted it to be about his team, not him. In a situation like that, it takes a lot of courage to do that. Just gained a deeper respect for him as a person/coach. I've always liked him to begin with, think he is a genuine man.

Wow. I hate ND and rooted against them. But that is so sad to hear. Had to be tough for him to coach tonight.

He comes from Coach K's coaching tree.

Yeah, I really don't get the anti-ND vibe. Football ok...makes sense. But hoops? I like their program.

Some schools it is a sport hate. With a couple like pedst and nd, it's an all around school hate regardless of team.
