Neither the Federal or State governments have taken into consideration Mental Health throughout this whole pandemic.
We were rabid fans before the pandemic and have emotional investment whether we care to admit it or not. The ebbs and flows of each season, each game is discussed in detail and a lot of horses have been beaten to death. But that's what fans do . The stop and start, the empty stands, the uneven rules for each state, has made the season a big asterisk regardless of what happens.

The players and coaches have sacrificed their off the court behavior for he love of the game. I can only imagine what players real thoughts are about this season( I 'm young, I feel fine, lets play}  naïve I  guess, but who can blame them.

As to JB, I'm sure he's fuming about this whole thing,( Not the pandemic, the inconsistencies of the rules) he's very close to the finish line in his career, recruiting on the uptick, and seems to like this current team very much.

All that said, I go back to the mental health aspect, is it time to just rip the band aid off and call it a season or do we get death by a thousand cuts with this stop and start experiment? Or even are all these games purely for exhibition and entertainment? Because the thought of a 14 day off Syracuse (or any team) playing crisp and battled UNC (or any team) is not even a real competition. Bryant showed us that, you really think the lack of practice didn't effect the team? Or Rutgers without Buddy?
