It's simplistic, but unless we recruit a low post scoring threat our offense is pretty east to slow down or stop. Simply pit we need a player like Stewart to help everybody else reach their potential. Syracuse wings are pretty good, but our reliance on outside shooting makes SU to inconsistent. Hope we land this recruit and feed him the rock.

battle should get some post-ups...he can score in the post over a smaller gaurd.

put marek at the top of the key - draw the big man out of the paint and post up battle - let him do his kobe impersonation down there.

they tried once vs GT but the ball was tipped cuz the angle on the entry pass was bad and never went back to it.

Battle can be the post scorer on this squad...as long as marek is in the game and willing to shoot stretching the defense. brissett might be able to as well.

problem is neither are good passers - would be nice to get some passes out of the post - those type of palys usually lead to high % 3's.

I'd also give the ball to marek and sidibe down low more - they get about 1 or 2 paint touches a game - no way it couldnt be more.

Battle can’t survive in the post. Brissett has no excuse though. Nor does Marek. Lets get some high low and draw fouls. Upset the tempo

he can post up gaurds and go to work...

brisset and marek can draw their defenders away from battle and he will score in the post well.

it hasnt been tried.

It has been awhile since we have seen a player consistently able to score in the post

We lose simply because the players we have are not better than the players they play against.

Frank tried to post up last night when he had the shrimp on him. Ended up getting pushed out too far and ended up taking a fadeaway that wasn't close.

Clearly our giant guards, who are typically taller then every guard they play, never practice with their backs to the basket.
