Comments: - The egregious error on our last possession was made by the guy who was easily our best player in the game. It’s almost like the old saying that God never gives you something you can’t handle. Maybe Tyus was the guy who could best deal with this because he was our best player. A lesser player might have ahd an even ahrder time with it. - That said, aren’t we better off running our offense for a last shot and getting the ball to one of the big three than isolating and having our best player esstnially go 1 on 5? - We out-shot them at every level but had 7 fewer two point shots, 3 fewer 3 point shots and 10 fewer free throw attempts. - Which was because we got killed on the boards, 27-42. If you have the ball all the time, you can overcome your mistakes. If you have it rarely, every mistake is going to matter. Our 14 turnovers meant much more than their 13. - Notre Dame had 15 points in their initial sets, (first chance points) – and won!
