If Aviles has to RS next season, then fine, but Desko better promise this kid his kidney to get him to stay instead of transferring out and screwing up a pipeline between 'Cuse x Ward Melville. We cannot afford to keep losing talent like this just because he wants to play someone who was highly ranked in HS, is a coaches son, or the son of a former Syracuse legend. Just because they are highly ranked in high school doesn't mean its going to translate over to D1 lacrosse, and I think we all know this very well without mentioning any names.

Regarding Salcido, I think thats a rare case of a walk-on working hard and defying the odds to earn his spot. Are we really going to continue to keep letting players like Quinn/Seebold see the field with the hopes they become a Salcido type player at some point in their careers, when there are players on the roster who are younger, have played a lot less minutes yet have the same amount of points as them? Judgments like these are what worry me about this staff as of late, but I hope that changes.
