Class of 2022 New Commit: Chuck Kuczynski (PA) Defense

I haven't seen as many games as I'd like this spring, but I've been really happy to see Kuczynski get playing time and really contribute. I consider him one of Lelan Rogers' last gifts to us. He really is a typical Rogers recruit. Tough, athletic and aggressive.

He has played really well this year, very under the radar. It helps that he's actually healthy for a change, he's had to deal with injuries every year since he got here save for this season I believe.

Any idea if he’s gonna take a medical redshirt for one of those seasons? He’s listed as a true junior on the Cuse athletics website but certainly should be able to get a 5th year if he chooses to do so.

He's a R-Soph right now and based on the fact he missed both the 23 and 24 seasons due to injury, yes he could get a med redshirt for 24.

Cuse.com lists him as a true junior for what it’s worth. But I’ll obviously trust your judgement

Don't go by Cuse.com for lax availability, they often go by educational year vs playing eligibility.
