Just confirmed 2 new commits: Josh Pulver, D, Fayetteville-Manlius (NY) '13 to Syracuse, brother Jake Pulver, D, F-M '14 to Cornell.

Looks like he switched from Cortland at the last minute

Desko is obviously not sold on the defenders we have in house. That's the 4th late addition to this class, all defensively...

Sean Young is the only healthy returnee with a lot of game experience.

Brandon Mullins is coming off ACL surgery.

That leaves Ryan Palasek (unless he's still in the doghouse), Griffin Vehar, Jay McDermott, Bobby Tait, and Chris Swanson. A lot of question marks.

That's a good point. I hope Palasek makes it back... Any word on whether Daniello is expected to return as well?

These late additions do make one wonder if there is going to be some unexpected off-season turnover on the defensive end.

As of Memorial Day, we had commits from only 1 other close defender (Firman), and 2 LSM's (Wyrick and Manning).

Obviously we planned on bringing in more than just 3 defensive players in this class, right?

Not sure how the staff feels about talent in house, but the numbers are low especially with question marks in Palasek and Mullins.
